Text won't show up when using the text tool in Photoshop CS2/CS3
When using the text tool in Photoshop CS2/CS3 the imputed text doesn't show up on the image and trying to highlight the text doesn't work either. The imputed text shows in the layers window however. The solution to this problem is easy:
1. Press "T" to access the text tool.
2. On the tool bar that opens, press the small arrow right next to the 'T' then the arrow that points to the right.
3. You can either reset the text tool by selecting "Reset Tool" or reset all the tools in Photoshop by using "Reset All Tools".
4. Text tool should now work appropriately.

ReplyDeleteWow! Thank you so much! I couldn't find a way to fix it but this really helped! THANK YOU!!! :D
ReplyDeletethe suggested fix did not work for me either. I ended up having to click alt, ctrl, shift at the same time I clicked my PS icon. Then I had the option to reset my photoshop preferences. The first couple times I waited to long to hit the alt, ctrl, shift. You have to click them right when clicking the PS icon. Hope this helps someone else. I was really annoyed that I couldn't figure it out. lol
